Work at Prescriba

We have many new projects coming up in 2012 and would love some of them to be made by you. As the title suggests, we are looking for at least two developers to help out.

You will be working closely with project manager Simon Yeung and programmer Rune Kaagaard (github.com/runekaagaard).

Technologies

We work primarily on the web using Ubuntu Server, Apache, MySQL, PHP, Javascript, CSS, Python, Drupal and Django. At this point in time we are feeling the pain of having a too tightly coupled infrastructure, and several of our new projects involves decoupling key features as RESTful web services or standalone components. Any insight you might have in to this, would be useful.

Projects

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will likely involve:

• Create or integrate a RESTful, OAuth based centralized web service to manage data and authorization for all our users.
• Build a calendar like RESTful API handling our health check bookings and a javascript frontend for it.
• Salvage the remains of our existing newsletter app and create a more durable solution.
• Design and build an API for our existing health data, and help develop the next iteration of our Health Calculator.
• Improving our existing questionnaire solution.

About you

You are able to quickly start working independently with the technologies described. We need to be able to talk design and infrastructure with you, not how to use a specific language feature. You are able to communicate in English both in writing and verbally.
