DEMONDO is an innovative social media platform under development. It is especially designed to strengthen and facilitate the growth of associations and civil society organizations that want to make a change.

It may range from a small coffee cooperative in Bolivia that want to administrate their community investments easier to a national student organisation in Syria wanting to depose a dictator.

We are looking for students at DIKU who want to get involved in managing the project and helping getting it off the ground. Our ambition is to have a scaled down prototype ready by the end of 2011.

You will be become part of a small group of devoted students all motivated by the desire to make a difference, challenge perceptions and push boundaries, creating a powerful new platform for democratic governance, empowerment, social equality and civic action. We come from diverse backgrounds, such as Political Science at KU, International Development Studies at RUC and Information Management at CBS. You will also be working in collaboration with our growing network of NGOs, consultants, advisors, usability experts, graphical designers and students at ITU.

So if you would like to work on an exciting non profit project that you can make your own, let us know (we speak both Danish and English)!
